WHAT GUESTS ARE SAYING...

“Perfect getaway! The cabin had everything we needed and more, it’s in a lovely quiet location but lots to see and do nearby. Our dog was very happy in the enclosed garden and all the nearby walks!”

Dan. W - April 2021

"Lillie's lookout is the perfect place for a get away, rain or shine, the cabin is absolutely stunning as are the views and the location, it has everything you could possibly need and more, it's so secluded and cosy, the hosts are super lovely we will definitely be returning."

Tom. P - October 2020

"What a lovely little cabin!!! An absolute idyllic place to rest up and relax. After spending over 3 weeks living in a van me & Ed needed to rest up and Lillie’s lookout provided over and above what we were after. Everything was so clean, lots of lovely touches, all the crockery and kitchen utensils were really quality & we didn’t need for anything! In no time at all we could walk to the coastal path and look out at the waves at Priests Cove, & have a lovely coffee/breakfast in St Just. Our washing was done for us, & came back folded and the whites separated which almost induced post-van gratitude tears. Felt very looked after and am missing it already. Will definitely return to this special cabin near the sea. Thank you so much for a lovely stay."

Julia. B - October 2020

"A fantastic getaway . Superb hosts , fantastic location . Every little detail catered for . Views leave you speechless . Words are just not enough."

Jennifer. K - September 2020

"This place is incredible! The pictures just don’t do it justice, it has more than you could ever need. Fully functioning and well equipped kitchen, comfy bed, clean, powerful shower, privacy. Little secret corner of Cornwall. Be sure to visit the Dog and Rabbit Cafe and Cape Cornwall. This is also a short drive from Sennen. The hosts were on hand if we needed anything but left us to enjoy our stay, checked we were happy before we left. The views are beautiful! Short walk from the village and pubs! Can’t wait to return! Thank you so much."

"We had a great stay at Lillie's Lookout! It is a fantastic place to stay with amazing views and everything you need. The cabin was warm and cosy even in the winter. The kitchen was great for cooking as it was full size and the cabin even has a bath, which was great after walking some of the South West Coast Path. We would definitely stay here again."

Lolo. B - October 2019

"Amazing place, the view in a morning is amazing, the bed is super comfortable and the entire lookout just feels so cosy."

John. B - September 2019

"Such a happy find - the cabin was really cleverly designed with a really good kitchen , breakfast bar and dining table, nice bathroom and a gorgeous private garden with three different table spots to sit and admire the awesome view. Our hosts were kind and relaxed . It is such a peaceful place - I just wanted to sit and gaze forever at the sea view with the Scilly Isles and fantastic sunrises. Fun to storm watch from the safety of the veranda."

Michelle. H - May 2019

"The cabin is beautifully designed and very private, with lovely scenic views all around. We found every comfort we could want (from a great shower to a comfortable bed and a fully equipped kitchen), and appreciated the little touches like biscuits, an Easter decoration, and milk in the fridge. Communication was very responsive and check-in a breeze, and we received very helpful local tips from Sebastian prior to arrival."

WHERE IT IS

LILLIE'S LOOKOUT

Lillie's Lookout was built for the owners' grand daughter to come from Australia and live in for a year. You'll love the full kitchen and small bathroom. Despite being only 30 meters square there's plenty of living space for two and you'll have an outside area with seating and barbecue.
Lillie's offers simple comfortable accommodation. When I first walked in I was immediately excited and wanted to stay.

Apart from looking great, its biggest draw is the location. No Go By is too small to be called a hamlet; just outside of Botallack. It's off the beaten track, yet you can walk to the cliffs in minutes. The centre of bustling little St Just with its pubs and cafes is a ten minute walk, and the Queen's Arms in Botallack is even closer. The wild moors of Carnyorth Common are just behind the cabin.

Living

One room living is surprisingly sociable and compelling. You can chat while you cook, share plans and stories while one of you lounges in the bath, or both crash out on the sofa.
The full sized kitchen is well equipped, there's plenty of dining space at the table, or the breakfast bar, and the sofa is big enough to sit apart on, or snuggle up.

Sleeping

The bed deck has a full king sized bed, and a great mattress that you'll love after a day in the fresh air of the far west.

Bathing

The small but ample bath is a comfortable place to soak away the aches of a day on the beach or walking the cliffs.

Essentials

LINEN AND TOWELS: Towels and bedding will be supplied for you, just remember to bring your beach towels.
GARDEN: Lillie's Lookout has been built in the corner of the owner's vast garden, they've even fenced it off so that you have your own private garden to sit out in, barbecue, or to just enjoy the far reaching views. As I sit here in the garden writing today I can see the Scilly Isles 30 miles away and Poldark's Wheal Leisure (actually Wheal Owles) down the road. And even better - no one can see me!
PARKING: There's plenty of room to park.
PETS: This is a dog's paradise. Within a dozen metres you can be off the road and heading up a track to the moors, or a bit further will have you on the track to the coast. Dogs are welcome at £25 per stay.
