Perched high above the golden sands of Gerrans Bay, just three miles north-east of Portscatho, Tredeanne is a heavenly coastal retreat in one of the prettiest and most unspoilt corners of Cornwall. With breathtaking sea views, beautifully considered interiors and a prime position for exploring the Roseland Peninsula, this is a truly special place to escape.
Newly built in a traditional Cornish style, Tredeanne blends timeless architecture with contemporary comfort. Floor-to-ceiling glass spans the entire sea-facing front of the house, framing sweeping coastal vistas where shimmering waters meet endless skies. From sunrise coffees to sunset suppers, the ever-changing view is simply mesmerising.
LOCATION
The Roseland Peninsula is renowned for its natural beauty, pristine beaches and outstanding food scene. Nearby highlights include The New Inn at Veryan, dining at The Nare Hotel, and the much-loved Hidden Hut at Portcurnick Beach. Continue along the coast to discover Portscatho and St Mawes, with excellent restaurants and ferry connections to Falmouth. Garden lovers will enjoy Trelissick and The Lost Gardens of Heligan, while Truro offers independent shops, a beautiful cathedral and vibrant dining.
LIVING
The heart of the home is the spectacular open-plan living space, bathed in natural light and opening directly onto the sun-soaked terrace. At one end, a stylish seating area invites you to unwind on two generous three-seater sofas and swivel chairs with matching pouffes, perfectly positioned to take in the view. On cooler days, the wood-burning stove adds a cosy touch, while a Smart TV offers relaxed evenings in.
COOKING & DINING
The beautifully designed kitchen is a joy for keen cooks, featuring duck egg blue shaker cabinets, sleek white quartz worktops and high-quality Neff appliances, along with a Nespresso coffee machine for leisurely lazy mornings. A separate utility room provides added convenience.
Adjacent to the kitchen, the dining area centres around a large oak table seating eight, set beneath elegant pendant lighting that creates a warm and intimate atmosphere long after dusk.
SLEEPING
Tredeanne sleeps eight guests across four beautifully appointed bedrooms, all designed for comfort and rest.
Upstairs, the stunning master suite enjoys uninterrupted sea views and a super king-size bed positioned to make the most of the outlook. Open the bi-fold doors on warm summer nights and let the gentle sea breeze lull you to sleep. The en-suite bathroom features a walk-in shower and twin vanity units.
Also on the first floor are a serene king bedroom and a charming twin room—both with glorious coastal views and dressed in sumptuous linens.
On the ground floor, the fourth bedroom offers flexible zip-and-link beds, ideal as either twins or a double. Decorated in deep, calming blues, it provides a peaceful retreat after a day exploring the coast.
All bedrooms benefit from underfloor heating and Egyptian cotton bed linens.
BATHING
The home offers a sleek en-suite shower room to the master bedroom, a family bathroom with bath and shower, and an additional ground-floor shower room. Each features underfloor heating and heated towel rails for year-round comfort.
OUTSIDE
Step outside onto the expansive stone terrace and prepare to be wowed. With 180-degree panoramic views stretching across to Carne Beach and along the Roseland coastline, this is the perfect spot for al fresco dining, sun-soaked afternoons on loungers, or simply soaking up the scenery.
Steps lead down to a lawned garden that wraps around the property, offering plenty of space to relax and unwind.
MORE INFORMATION
PARKING: Private parking outside ample for up to 3 cars
WI-FI: Tredeanne has free Wi-Fi, so you can stay in touch with the outside world.
HEATING: There is underfloor heating across the ground floor with radiators across the first floor.
LITTLE ONES: There are two travel cots and a highchair for your use. Don't forget to bring a mattress and linen for the cot.
The gardens are fairly level to the immediate front but are NOT fully enclosed with a small drop at the seaward end. There is also a sceptic tank below a small bush the opposite side of the lawn from the shed. For safety This must not be tampered with or the cover removed. Children of all ages must be fully supervised by a responsible adult if using the outside areas.
ALLERGIES: If you or any member of the party suffer any kind of allergy (such as pet, dust or food) please let us know before booking so we can advise both the suitability of the property and what feasible measures are possible to mitigate the issue such as adapting any welcome pack contents.
PETS: Pets Are NOT permitted at Tredeanne.
LINEN & TOWELS: You'll have bedding & towels but please bring your own beach towels.
ACCESSIBILITY: Typical of Cornish houses, Tredeanne has internal stairs and steps throughout so it may not be suitable for those with limited mobility. Outside you have steps (and in some areas there is no hand rail).
This property is not wheelchair friendly and may not be suitable for those with limited mobility. If this applies, please contact our booking office to discuss the properties potential suitability prior to confirming. Additionally always check the floorplan in the photo gallery to ensure the layout is suitable to your needs.
CHANGEOVER DAY & SHORT BREAKS: Tredeannechangeover day is usually a Friday. For bookings of four or less there is a discount. Do check with us if your dates don't quite fit as we will always try to help. Short breaks out of season.

You are slightly off the beaten track. Perfect for nature lovers looking for a rural escape. However If you are in a car that's your pride and joy be aware Cornish country lanes sometimes involve navigating hedgerows and windy single track lanes.
Stepped gardens mean children will need to always be supervised when outside.
If travelling in the dark it it is recommend you use What 3 Words and familiarise yourself with the directions before leaving. Also ensure you download all directions before hand in case of patchy phone signal.
