CARN VIEW, CAPE CORNWALL
NEW FOR 2025 - Overlooking the Carn's rugged moorland and with sea glimpses of the Atlantic ocean this stylish and cosy reverse level retreat is set on the outskirts of St Just and is a short walk from Cape Cornwall and coast path. Carn View is the perfect base for a small family or couples to enjoy west Cornwall with views and sunsets which can be enjoyed from the balcony. At any time of the year Carn View is comfortable and welcoming with everything you need nearby. Walkers will love it here with the coastal footpath moments away and if you enjoy a swim, Priest Cove has a man-made tidal pool, which is accessible at low tide. This little rocky cove sits just below Cape Cornwall and has a pebbly beach with a slipway for the small fishing boats that work from here.
Carn View offers reverse level accommodation and you enter straight into the ground floor hallway where you will find two bedrooms both with en suite shower rooms. Bedroom one is a double (with one side against the wall) and bedroom two has two single beds (which are perfect for our younger guests). Take the carpeted stairs up to the open plan living area, where you will find a well equipped kitchen, sweet dining area and two sofas to snuggle up on. Patio doors lead onto the balcony where you have a little bistro table and two chairs. Why not enjoy an aperitif with your favourite person watching the sunset over the carn- pure bliss!
A real retreat with a garden and private parking Carn View is a great base where you can leave the car parked and enjoy so much from the doorstep

WHAT GUESTS ARE SAYING...
“We had a lovely time. Everything was exactly as advertised and the cottage was well equipped compared to other places we have stayed. Not everything in St Just is fully open in the winter so options for eating out in town were limited (and finish early) but it’s a friendly place and there are plenty of takeaway options. We tended to walk and explore during the day and have a good pub lunch, stop off for a drink on the way home and cook something simple in the evening. We will definitely be visiting again.”
Tracy – November 2025
“Great position on Cape Cornwall with beautiful views and excellent walking on Coast Path and around mine workings from the door. We had everything we needed in the kitchen and lovely for cosy nights in. Went to Gurnards Head one night for dinner - excellent. Golf Club good for a coffee if you don’t fancy the walk to St Just although that doesn’t take long and lovely village. Fabulous weekend and thanks to really friendly and helpful staff at The Cornish Way”
Sharon – October 2025
“We really enjoyed our stay at Carn View. It is a beautiful little house in lovely surroundings, close to the coastal path and about a 15 minute walk into St Just. It is a very peaceful location - a great place for a quiet retreat. The house was well equipped and had everything we needed to make meals, etc. The staff at The Cornish View were also very responsive and helpful any time we had questions.”
Niels Asger – September 2025
“Great location, we could walk to the sea every evening and enjoy the view, great surfing paradise. Everything was perfect, thank you.”
Katrin – August 2025
“Lovely clean, peaceful, airy accommodation. Balcony was great for sunsets and to gaze out to the sea. Had everything we needed for cooking and feeling like home. St just amenities 15/20min walk away and cape Cornwall a short 5/10mins stroll which we did most evenings. We were very blessed with the weather and wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.”
