NUMBER THREE, MOUSEHOLE
This stylish two bedroom cottage has been lovingly refurbished with comfort in mind and is set minutes from one of Cornwall's prettiest harbours in this iconic fishing village. The open plan living space flows seamlessly through the kitchen out to a private patio garden. It's the perfect spot for a leisurely breakfast before exploring Mousehole with its excellent galleries, restaurants, shops and pubs tucked away down its higgledy-piggledy lanes. Upstairs, the master bedroom has a sense of calm with its neutral tones and sea views. After a day exploring you’ll be ready to sink into the king size bed and drift off to sleep. The second double bedroom is quietly located at the rear and next to it is the luxury shower room with its rainfall shower.
LOCATION
Mousehole is Cornwall at its absolute best and it’s obvious as to why the iconic fishing village is such a popular location. Its origins date back as far as the 12th century when it was the main fishing port in Mounts Bay, and much of its old-world charm has remained. You can feel the history when you stroll around its higgledy-piggledy lanes.
The village hugs the coastline and is protected by Raginnis Hill, making it a real suntrap to soak up the Cornish sun. Mousehole is also a foodie hot-spot, with a good selection of restaurants, cafes, two delis, and the working harbour of Newlyn being in easy reach. Mousehole harbour lights are perhaps the most famous attraction, when hundreds of people each year come to see the village illuminated by Christmas lights. Choose to make the most of the walks and places to visit within walking distance or use as a base to explore from and retreat back to. With so much within a half an hour drive you can really enjoy the best of the far west of Cornwall.
LIVING
The entrance porch has boot and coat storage with an internal door through to the open plan living space. The central hub of the home with its wonderful blend of comfort and style offers plenty of space for everyone to relax after a day of activities on the comfortable sofa and armchair under the window. Gather everyone together for a movie night on the large Smart TV or just to reminisce on the day's adventures.
COOKING & EATING
The fabulous kitchen is open-plan to the living space and has everything to cater for your culinary needs. It's finished to a high standard with an electric oven and induction hob, microwave, integrated under-the-counter fridge with freezer compartment, a slim integrated dishwasher and combi washer/dryer. There’s a small dining table with four chairs, perfect for those nights you want to eat in.
SLEEPING
MASTER BEDROOM: A comfortable king bed with bedside tables, wardrobe, a chest of drawers and sea views.
SECOND BEDROOM: A double bedroom with bedside tables, lamps and open hanging. Enjoy lazy mornings looking over the garden.
BATHING
The shower room has everything you need to refresh yourself after a day at the beach or walking the coast path. There's a rainfall shower with hand-held attachment, basin and WC. We’ll supply the fluffy bath towels, just remember to bring your own beach towels.
OUTSIDE
The fully enclosed courtyard garden is a private and tranquil place to unwind after a day of exploring. Enjoy alfresco dining at the table and chairs or leisurely evenings with the lights on when it’s just too good to be inside. There is also a bench outside the front of Number Three, a sweet spot to watch the world go by with a cup of tea.

WHAT GUESTS ARE SAYING...
“We had such a wonderful stay in Mousehole and this beautiful cottage. We fell in love with the charming little village and surroundings, truly a special place! The cottage was so cosy and homely, had everything you could need and was spotlessly clean. Being able to see the sea from the bedroom was especially excellent! The Cornish Way were also really friendly, responsive and helpful with our questions, which we appreciated. We paid for parking for a couple of days on the harbour walls but then found great spots just beyond the Old Coastguard after that which were free and always had lots of space at the end of the day, would recommend parking here if you stay. We also had fantastic food at the Orange Cafe just a few minutes walk from the cottage. Couldn't recommend enough, we will definitely be back!”
