No. 5, PENZANCE
This stunning luxury townhouse is located a stone's throw from Penzance’s world-famous promenade and art deco lido, Jubilee Pool. It’s a central but tucked away location situated perfectly for exploring the best the town and surrounding area has to offer. Exuding style and comfort with tasteful, simple and light décor throughout with the vaulted master suite offering a private balcony to breathe in the sea air.
No. 5 is a mid-terrace home set in a brand-new development set behind the Queens Hotel and is moments from the sea. One of only eight traditionally built houses it comprises a separate kitchen and living room downstairs, with a utility cupboard and cloak room off the kitchen. A double and bunk bedroom plus a family bathroom are on the first floor while the master suite with balcony can be found on the second floor. With an enclosed garden off the kitchen and allocated parking space, No. 5 is the ideal Penzance base set in a prime part of this sought after harbour town.
Be right in the heart of it all but tucked away enough to enjoy a relaxing stay. Leave the car as there is so much to explore from the doorstep here with coastal walks to Mousehole one way and Marazion to the other. Penzance has so many hidden treasures and many foodie delights to discover.
The best local attractions, shops, galleries, bars, pubs and restaurants are all within walking distance. You can be in the oldest pub in Penzance, The Turks Head, dating from 1233, in a matter of minutes. Have a drink or a meal here and you’ll be stepping back in history, enjoying the same public house as pirates and smugglers did 750 years ago. Or walk along the seafront to the famous Jubilee Pool, the UK’s largest art deco seawater lido.
Penzance is the gateway to the Land’s End peninsula and in the far west of Cornwall nothing is far away. The fishing harbour of Newlyn is a 20-minute walk along the seafront promenade, and the quaint village of Mousehole is only a 10 minutes’ drive away. Marazion, with the famous St. Michael’s Mount, is easy to walk or drive to. St. Ives is easily reached using the scenic rail line from Penzance station. Sennen Cove, The Minack Theatre in Porthcurno, and The Cornish Mining World Heritage Site on the north coast, are all an easy drive away.
The entrance has boot and coat storage with the stairs leading straight ahead to the upstairs. The living room is off to the left at the front of the house. The central hub of the home with its wonderful blend of comfort and style offers plenty of space for everyone to relax after a day of activities on the large L-shaped leather sofa and comfortable armchair in the window. Gather everyone together for a night with a movie or board game on the large Smart TV or just to reminisce on the day's adventures.

Richard – September 2023
"Perfectly located house with a private parking, and walking distance to all the local amenities including bus/train and boat depot as well as supermarkets and tourist shops. Clean rooms and facilities perfect for families and within 1 minute to the harbour front with views of St Micheal’s Mount, ideal base location to visit other parts of Cornwall. The property is exactly as shown in the images. Sebastian was great and available for any queries with prompt responses. Highly recommend this property if you’re looking to visit Cornwall!"

“The best equipped kitchen I've ever seen. Had baking pans, lots of utensils and of course warm, frothy milk! The property is right off the promenade but far enough away to be quiet. Immaculate inside and out. A real treat. The bed in the master bedroom is so comfy you'll never want to leave. Milk in the fridge, Cornish biscuits and flowers on the windowsill on arrival were a really nice touch. Would recommend a romantic weekend retreat or an excellent base for a family to spend endless days at the beach.”
Amy – June 2023
“We’ve now been spoilt for future stays! The house was spotless and finished to a high standard. It felt luxurious and modern with Cornish touches in the decoration. We had everything we needed for our long weekend at the property and the space worked really well for our family of four with two teens as there was plenty of room to spread out (plus two showers.) Allocated parking opposite the house was great as we didn’t have to pay for a car park or search for street parking which isn’t always easy in Penzance. We had a fab stay at No 5 and we will be back.”
Michelle – May 2023
"We booked our Easter getaway through The Cornish Way and had a very positive experience. Really good communication before, during, and after our stay. The property was immaculate and very well equipped with everything we could possibly need. After a 13-hour journey from Edinburgh, we arrived to fresh flowers, milk, coffee, cookies, and healthy treats for our dog. There was antibacterial hand wash in every bathroom, and in the kitchen, and there was washing up liquid and dishwasher pods too. The bed linen and towels were soft and fluffy.Overall, we were delighted we chose The Cornish Way and would not hesitate to use them again for our next trip to Cornwall."
