A great location to explore the area, a lovely walk to Lands End, and an easy drive to St Just, Penzance, St Ives and Sennen, which were all beautiful...  Overall a really lovely stay, and we already miss the huge bed in the master bedroom!"

A spacious, luxury retreat minutes from one of Cornwall's most photographed beaches, the stunning Porthcurno. Painstakingly finished, An Chy Gwyn exudes effortless style and comfort from the moment you walk in. Spanning the entire first floor of a large Victorian villa, it feels more like a house with its own front and back doors and the delightful offset, private garden is the perfect spot for relaxing and enjoying al fresco suppers.

This light filled home has large bespoke windows with a peaceful rural outlook and unusually high ceilings giving it a wonderful sense of space and calm. A hand-built kitchen by Treyone of Cornwall, top of the range loaf beds and calming Farrow and Ball hues all add to the feeling of quality in this very special property.

Comfortably sleeping six there are three large bedrooms and two gorgeous bathrooms where you can really enjoy the sense of hotel luxury. Coming together the large open plan living area offers a wonderful space for social times. For al fresco evenings head to the private garden. It's offset across the courtyard, enclosed and tiered with Danish designed chairs and benches from the Hay Palissade range as well as a built-in barbeque for cooking up a feast.

If you can draw yourself away from this magical pocket of West Cornwall the private parking space makes it easy to head out and explore the area with so many hidden coves and villages to see.

Whether an escape to relax and lay on the beach, walk the coast path or get some surfing in, this is a perfect spot to enjoy your Cornish break.

In an incredibly sought-after location, An Chy Gwyn is nestled into the sleepy coastal village of Porthcurno. The beach really is a paradise and you’re perfectly positioned and can wander down there in a matter of minutes.

Famously known for the Minack, Porthcurno is home to this entirely unique open-air theatre that’s perched up on the cliffs. With only the breathtaking and ever-changing view of the Atlantic Ocean as its backdrop, this is a truly special spot. From the beach you can even climb up the steps and rocks built into the cliff side, for an amazing panoramic view of the coastline.

Located away from it all but only a short journey to some of the best the Far West of Cornwall has to offer, you’re only 10 minutes by car to the amazing Sennen and Gwenver beaches or 15 minutes to Newlyn harbour for some of the freshest seafood there is.

The whole living area has been carefully thought out with pieces of furniture specially selected to complement each other. The open plan living room with its Black Forest oak parquet floor is the hub of the home and a social space. Perfect after a day at the beach, pop a bottle in the wine cooler and sink into one of the two large sumptuous sofas or gorgeous leather armchair. The window is ideal for sitting back and admiring the countryside views by day, or in the evening light the wood burner and read a book or snuggle up to a film on the large TV.

The fabulous kitchen is open plan to the living space and is handmade by Treyone of Cornwall, with a quartz worktop supplied by Duke Stone in Helston. This kitchen is any cook’s dream. The appliances are Neff and you will have all the equipment and space needed to cook up a feast. Flooded with natural light It’s a beautifully designed kitchen and as well as a fridge-freezer, dishwasher and Nespresso coffee machine.

The dining area between the kitchen and living space has a table made by the Farmhouse Table Co of Totnes and is perfect for gathering the group for an evening meal or dinner table game.

All the bedrooms here at An Chy Gwynn feel like you’re stepping into a boutique hotel. You’re sure to sleep soundly here with each room offering plush top of the range Loaf beds with pocket sprung mattresses and they all have their own TV. The master bedroom is just off the living room and has a French style super king size bed, with a padded velvet headboard lovely for propping up a pillow and admiring the view from the window. There’s a chest of drawers as well as a wardrobe, so plenty of space for storing your clothes.

The second bedroom is just up the stairs and off the landing before you come into the living area. The gorgeous large window boasts a fantastic view, and taking a seat at the desk is the ultimate spot for sitting back, admiring the surrounding countryside and penning a postcard home. Everything in this room feels luxurious from the wardrobe, chest of drawers to the king size bed.

The third bedroom is spacious with twin beds, a chest of drawers and TV.

There’s two lovely bathrooms in this home. The first is a shower room opposite the king size bedroom as you enter the apartment and has a great walk-in rain shower, basin, light up mirror and WC.1

The main bathroom is at the back of the apartment, and it’s the perfect balance of style and comfort. It’s tiled with varying shades of deep blue and the free-standing bath is positioned by the window, so you can gaze at the pretty scenery whilst enjoying a soak. There’s also a walk-in rain shower, basin, WC and a large mirror.

At the back of the apartment by the bathroom there is a rear door leading outside and down to a communal courtyard area. There is an outside hose for washing off sandy toes and excited dogs as well as a cupboard for storing beach gear. Just across from here is a private gate leading into the tiered garden.
