This spacious, light and welcoming, second floor one bedroom apartment is tucked away in a quiet, sought after gated development in the heart of the bustling town of Penzance. Eclectic pieces of furniture and oriental artwork complement well stocked bookshelves and create a beautiful juxtaposition to the contemporary apartment they fill. This one-bedroom apartment has lift access, an open-plan kitchen, living and dining areas which flow through to a private balcony overlooking the rear and there is also a  contemporary shower room with WC.

Trevow is ideal for couples looking to explore west Penwith whilst also offering a quiet evening retreat to unwind from a busy day. The lovely open spaces make this property light and relaxing all year round, being stone’s throw from the busy town centre you’ll never be short of things to do.

LOCATION

Located in a quiet location just a stroll from Penzance’s high street or the popular Chapel Street, this property is situated perfectly for exploring the best the town has to offer. Be right in the heart of it all but tucked away enough to enjoy a relaxing stay. The best local attractions, shops, galleries, bars, pubs and restaurants are all within walking distance. You can be in the oldest pub in Penzance, The Turks Head, dating from 1233, in a matter of minutes. Or walk along the seafront to the famous Jubilee Pool, the UK’s largest art deco seawater lido.

Penzance is the gateway to the Land’s End peninsula and in the Far West of Cornwall nothing is far away. The fishing harbour of Newlyn is 20 minutes’ walk along the seafront promenade, and the quaint village of Mousehole is only a 10 minutes’ drive away. Marazion, with the famous St. Michael’s Mount, is easy to walk or drive to and St. Ives is a short trip using the scenic rail line from Penzance station. Sennen Cove, The Minack Theatre in Porthcurno, and The Cornish Mining World Heritage Site on the north coast, are all an easy drive away. Many of the film locations from Winston Graham’s Poldark books are in the area and part of the German TV Rosamunde Pilcher series was filmed right outside the door in Chapel Street.

LIVING

Open-plan to the kitchen/dining area, the light living area is a comfortable space filled with selected pieces reflecting the owner Meg’s  family’s history after a long residence in the far east . There is a  dark blue velvety sofa to sink into for nights with a good film, or simply to put your feet up and indulge in one the owner’s many books. A second sofa makes for a sociable space and to relax. A large TV with Sky Essentials package will provide plenty of entertainment during your stay.  Off the living area is access to a private balcony with outdoor seating.

COOKING & EATING

This generous and spacious kitchen is open to the living area and has everything you need to cook up a storm, if you choose to. Penzance is a foodie’s delight! The kitchen includes a selection of fitted appliances including a fridge-freezer, microwave oven and grill, dish washer, electric oven, five ring gas hob and wine cooler as well as a countertop kettle and toaster. (The wine cooler is not in use)

SLEEPING

A double bedroom leads off the hallway with the shower room opposite. It’s a calm light space with storage space for those staying longer. There’s a full-length mirror and table and there are side lights to provide more subtle lighting.

BATHING

The shower room is across the hallway from the bedroom. This modern shower room hosts a spacious shower with both overhead and handheld shower heads and a heated towel rail. As well as a WC and wash basin with a large well-lit mirror and power outlets.

WHAT GUESTS ARE SAYING...

“Great apartment with very spacious layout. Stayed for 10 days as was working in the town centre which was only a 2-minute walk away. Everywhere was clean and tidy on arrival. Couldn't have asked for a better location! The Cornish fairings on table were appreciated. Thanks again for a great place to stay!”

Joe – March 2024

“Really convenient location for step off to the Scilly Isles (terminals just down the road) and for exploring this part of Cornwall. Flat was clean, well equipped and spacious. Good wifi and TV set up. Clear instructions and file with local restaurants etc. Thoughtful touches like milk in the fridge and tea and coffee provided. Gated complex so good security in the flats and for the car. Nice to have a little outside balcony. We enjoyed staying there”

Joanna – October 2023

“Such a beautiful space. Really comfortable and private yet close to amenities. I’ve visited Penzance many times on my way to Sennen and Treen but have never stayed there. The location was perfect just short walk round the corner from Jubilee Pool as well as Morrab Gardens both well worth a visit. The co-op on Jew Street and the little independent shops on the neighbouring streets were really accessible. Even though the town was quite busy the location is just off the beaten track. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay!”

Nkechi – September 2023

“A perfect holiday from both location and accommodation, could not fault it any way.”

Susan – September 2023

"My partner and I had a great couple of days at Penzance and was very pleased with our accommodation. The apartment was pristine and the facilities were easily accessible. Definitely recommend to book if you are visiting Penzance. The apartment is in a great location, close to the beach, the city centre as well as transport links. Thank you for a great couple of days."
