location

Chy Kres is privately situated set up a lane close to the centre of village. Pendeen is set on the coastal road running from St just to St Ives and its a peaceful location surrounded by countryside with views out across the Atlantic. Often referred to as ‘Poldark country’ for its picturesque seascapes used as beautiful backdrops in the recent series, it is the ideal spot for those that want to see the rugged, untouched Cornwall. With plenty of space to really embrace and explore the outdoors this area is a walker’s paradise.

There are several lovely scenic walks to the stunning Portheras Cove, historic Pendeen Lighthouse, or slightly further is the popular surf beaches of Sennen and Gwenver - which could be mistaken for the Caribbean on a Summer’s day. Heading out in the evening is easy with two traditional Cornish village pubs within walking distance: The North Inn and Radjel Inn. Both serve a great selection of drinks as well as good pub grub. Maria Chica’s is a local little eatery loved by locals for its fabulous tapas style dishes. Or if you fancy a night in head to Lil’s Chippy for a great fish and chips.
