“A fabulous and cosy space for 2, in the centre of St Agnes. This cottage has everything you need, the bathroom is luxurious and the kitchen is well equipped. We enjoyed lighting the fire every day. There are many local restaurants to enjoy but our favourites were the St Agnes Hotel, the Green Roof cafe and The Peterville Inn.”

"We were really sorry to leave this sweet little place! It’s so nicely furnished, well equipped, warm, clean and comfortable, and just what we were after for an Autumn break walking parts of the SWCP. Communication was faultless and we’d happily book again."

Sally.C - October 2019

"We had a lovely stay in Fetch travelling as a couple and felt very relaxed here! St Agnes is a great village with a real community feel and lots of great independent shops and pubs (we especially loved St Agnes’ Bakery, where we got the best Cornish pasties!)"

Andy.R - September 2019

"Fetch was incredibly stunning, and in perfect location for the St. Agnes carnival, and only about a half hour walk from Chapel Porth and Trevaunance Cove (These beaches were perfect for surfing) We also enjoyed making use of the local bakery and sitting in the garden to have breakfast. Sebastian was great at communicating and has amazing knowledge of the local area. Would recommend to anyone wanting to have an active or a quiet and relaxing stay (or a mixture of both like we did!)"

Rhia.E - August 2019

“I cannot recommend this place enough! If you are even considering it- just BOOK NOW! Fetch was absolutely charming, the perfect little cottage getaway with everything you could want. The kitchen was the best stocked holiday kitchen I have ever seen- no trouble cooking up a feast here! But with the country’s best pizza takeaway at the top of the road, you might not need to. Sebastian’s communication before and during the trip was great, and he sent loads of really useful local info. We loved our stay and hope you do too!”

A delightful one-bedroom apartment with a pretty private garden and its own front door, set in the heart of St Agnes. It’s been beautifully refurbished, with a stunning kitchen and luxurious bathroom and makes the perfect retreat for two, whether coming to unwind, walk the magnificent coastline or enjoy the great local surf spots. You’re tucked away, but close to the area’s great local pubs, restaurants and shops and a lovely local beach.

After a day out exploring, enjoy a sundowner in the garden watching the world go by or get cosy with a book in front of the roaring log fire. We are dog friendly too so haven’t forgotten your four-legged friend, who will love the numerous walks around this stunning area.

Fetch, named after the term for the length of water a given wind has blown really is a comfortable base to enjoy your Cornish escape from. Once parked up you can forget the car if you want, and just relax with everything needed for a great holiday close by. The bedroom has a king-sized bed overlooking the garden and the sitting room flows through to the gorgeous kitchen/dining room, perfect for cooking up a social meal. The bathroom really is special and with a freestanding bath and walk in shower, it adds a touch of luxury!

Fetch is situated in the heart of St Agnes, and is a ten-minute ish walk down to the sea. If exploring further afield, this stretch of coast has some of Cornwall’s best beaches in easy reach, with Chapel Porth to the west and Perranporth to the East. Keen surfers will have their pick of some of the best spots in the county. For eating out you’re well served here, whether it’s a laid-back café to an upmarket eatery there is a great selection of pubs, restaurants and cafes in St Agnes. There are plenty of great local shops too from a butcher to a fruit and veg shop and the St Agnes bakery, known for their great Pasties. Wheal Kitty on the outskirts is a fashionable spot and has the Canteen which we recommend for a casual lunch. Some other top tips include The Tap House, Taste and of course The Driftwood Spars, famous for its beer. The Railway at the top of our road is great for a winter pint in front of the fire.

Through the porch you enter the hallway which leads to the kitchen at the rear, with the sitting room and bedroom at the front overlooking the garden. The sitting room has a super comfy large sofa overlooking the fireplace and a study area for getting some work done or penning a postcard home. A large opening to the kitchen makes it all flow and feel more open plan.

The kitchen is fabulous and equipped with all you need to cook up a feast. At the centre is a dining table and it’s a great social space with a large hatch through to the sitting room. There is a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, an induction hob and double electric cooker.

The main bedroom is a comfortable space with a king-size bed, and wardrobe with shelves and hanging space.

The luxurious bathroom is a lovely calm room and there’s a walk-in rain shower, a freestanding bath, basin, WC and heated towel rail. We’ll supply fluffy bath towels, just remember to bring your own beach towels.

You walk up to Fetch through a private gate into the pretty front garden with a table and chairs and it is a real sun trap.

HEATING: Modern independent heaters keep Fetch nice and toasty and there is a large immersion for piping hot water. The fireplace in the sitting room will keep you cosy on cooler evenings.

PARKING: There's no formal parking but just up from Fetch are a couple of free spaces if you’re lucky. There is free parking along Rosemundy and further down there are often spaces along the wall in the second section of the road. Just always be mindful of allowing cars and public buses unrestricted access along the local roads. In peak times there is also a free village car park 5 minutes away and other spots around the village if you can’t find a space.

WIFI: There is free unlimited Wi-Fi at Fetch.

ACCESSIBILITY: Fetch has steps up to the front garden and into the porch. Once inside it’s all across the ground floor. There is a single step down into the bathroom.

PETS: West Cornwall is brilliant for dogs. One well-behaved dog is welcome at £25 per week/short break. Please make sure they stay off the furniture and that you rub down muddy feet before they come in.

SHORT BREAKS: Short breaks are available for a minimum of three nights with flexible changeover days. Don’t worry if you need to book dates that don’t quite fit, just call or email and we will always do our best to accommodate you.
